Mayor Marion Gerling, who spearheaded the original gaming book products committee that brought the conference to town, spoke joyfully about the boom for local business: “Restaraunts, Night Clubs, and the mall have all benefitted greatly. Local retail sales are up nearly %50, and restaurants have nearly all sold out for the next week and a half!” “Wow!!!”, said Tricia Valerie, a first time conference goer, “I’m so thankful that many gaming book products industry heavyweights took time out to come and talk to us. I’ve learned a lot of new things, found out industry news, and was able to network successfully with others who have jobs similar to mine.” “I’m really impressed by the presentation Boike Kraus did about up-and-coming gaming book products businesses. The reasoning was solid, plenty of detail was provided, and some of the conclusions were very provocative,” raved Barnett Chrismer, VP of Marketing for the Hoskie Loynd Corporate body. Some new gaming book products product lines were also announced today, including the much anticipated release from Jankowski Scherb.com, a new leader in the industry. Most of the product announcements came during the “Hot Products” session, although a few companies chose instead to present their new items in the commercial area. Corporate attendees were advised to bring at least 1000 gaming book products products with them to resell, and despite this quota, many companies sold out on the very first day! The gaming book products conference also boasted an outstanding product offering, with specialty vendors and sales personel from all major companies. Wakeham Ganino supervised this segment of the conference, and stated “People are buying this gaming book products stuff like hotcakes…I’m thrilled about the success of these products!” Many of this year’s best gaming book products questions did not come from the crowd, but from a slew of online website forums. Forums have become increasingly popular and server as watchdogs over the many gaming book products industry providers. Furthermore, they serve as a great point of reference for people with questions and industry newbies. Nedry Waite, a well known gaming book products marketer and former CEO of the Sunderman Baerman INC firm, had a great panel discussion on the legalities of gaming book products trade abroad. Sunderman Baerman spoke briefly on current events, and then opened up the floor for Q & A from the audience. A small celebrity presence at this year’s gaming book products conference excited many attendees. Actors Wessel Hanscom and Willmarth Neighbor both came during the afternoon session, mostly out of personal curiosity. “I love this stuff,” said Willmarth Neighbor, “and eventually, I want to start my own gaming book products business that will parallel my work in Hollywood.”
